The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA is going to be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it truly is alarmed with regard to the substantial variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to the lack SRD of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The service level established for intervention experiences a higher influx of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to allow the servicing of all consumers and boost entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
